My obsession with The Sartorialist continues with this look inspired from his November 12th post On the Street….Spring St, New York. What caught my eye with this look was the way the coat almost perfectly matched the shoes. In my real life, I am mad about black tights with sandals: Yes I know it sounds weird or that I have one foot inside the land of geekdom, but I LOVE IT! Well, I skipped the sandals for some reason but stayed with the overall concept of the look – matchy, matchy coat and shoes!

Let’s take a moment to talk about hair. Yes I know I should say something about the coat first though – it’s fab and you should buy it. Okay, back to hair. So I love me some mesh hair designers but I can’t help but miss me some flexies – sculpts and flexies all in one look – SO CUTE. When the hell will we be able to do that with mesh? Please Linden gods, grant me the serenity of flexies in my hair once again. There – daily mesh rant done!

Standing near the Temple of the Priest-Kings, Elle pretended she wasn’t paying attention to the heated conversation occurring between her Master, Cor, and his new companion Olympia. Her thoughts drifted back to that night in the tea room where Olympia revealed to her the way in which Cor actually brought her to Clearchus – kidnapped and forced to remain. She glanced over and regarded Olympia for few moments, noticing the anxiety in both her facial expressions and tone of voice. They were both women, born of the scribes, who’s lives are now controlled by a the same man. But when Elle was forced into Cor’s chains she was merely a caste-less, branded and recently freed slave and Olympia could offer him much more.

Elle continued to listen to Cor and Olympia as the conversation turned to children. Cor was expecting an heir from his new companion and sadly for Olympia he was not a patient man. Biting her lip, she slowly approached her owners and quickly found her way next to Olympia. She looks at Cor, her lips pursed, her fists clenched doing her best to hide the anger inside her. As each day goes by and the more Elle learns about him from his actions and from what she has learned in working on his business ledgers…she questions whether or not he truly is an honorable man. The conversation between her owners continues, but in the back of her mind she thinks and plots and shuffles ideas back and forth on how she might play a role in saving Olympia from the tyrant of their household known as Cor Tarrant.

The other day on plurk I was sitting there reading my timeline and taking on the emo gloriousness going on around me. I thought to myself “Elle/Lizzie/Elizabeth/Betty it’s been a while since you indulged in emo plurkitudediness so why not give it a whirl once again?” So I did it: I emo plurked about blogging and my lack of motivation lately. Of course my friend and fellow plurky pal Gogo commented and made the following suggestion regarding what I should do blogwise:

“Hmmm,” I thought to myself “Why not channel Gogo at least once in a post?” Now, I pondered this idea for a bit thinking to myself over and over the following: “How would one channel Gogo fashion wise in SL without looking exactly like her?” Well my friends, first off blonde hair would be a requirement but not Gogo blonde since Elle is much more of a dirty girl than our blonde bombshell blogger we have all grown to know and love. So why not use a blonde that looks a bit…well dirty as in hot Lamb hair dirty.

Then of course we would have to wear heels, a sexy top and glam jewelry. Yes I know I cut off the shoes in the photo but for some reason I was floating in these shoes! Off topic for a moment and yes I admit I am a bit late to the prim feet shoe craze but why the hell do I appear to float when I wear these types of shoes? Am I too freakin’ short? HELP!

Any who, I think I did a pretty good job at channeling Ms. Blondness – well a dirty talkin’, Gor lovin’, bordering on Britney Spears vagina flashin’ Gogo – but you get the idea. Okay that’s all I got today and is per the norm – I wish you well and a happy role playing/channeling/stalking a second life blogger, second life!

I kind of threw this look together over the weekend and it seemed to really fit this particular setting – or at least I think so, LOL.

The softness of the candlelight against my new Dutch Touch skin made me intensely happy.

Completing this look was this corset made by a new designer to SL, Devin Klaber, and her aptly named store Devin’s Cleverly Named Shop. She only has a couple of items out currently but I am looking forward to seeing her future releases.

Could this cute monthly gift from Miel be used a camisk for Gorean Role Play? Let me go through my own personal check list of what I think makes up a good camisk to see if it could be a possibility:

Is it short enough to barely cover my bits? CHECK
Could it appear to be whipped together using a simple rep cloth or even a sack? Check
Does it involve materials such as ropes or bindings? CHECK
Can it be worn sans “glitch pants”? Check

So in my eyes we possibly have a camisk on our hands..WEEEEEEEE!

Some might think I am pushing the concept of mainstream fashion being applicable to Gor with this look but I personally think it might just work!
