I love to peruse the RL blog The Sartorialist at least to know that my own RL fashion choices aren’t so bad, LOL. Continuing on this RL/SL theme I have going, the look I have today was inspired by one of his posts.
Yes, I know my jacket sinks into my skirt, but with mesh being, well mesh, there isn’t a whole hell of a lot I can do about it. The advent of mesh really in many ways pushed me away from blogging: I had to change my shape to “fit in”, you can’t reposition it, and frankly there is a lot of crap out there. Templates, after templates, after templates of crap. I miss the kind of whimsical nature of sculpts/prims/flexies. Realism is not necessarily the best thing when you are talking about a fantasy world like Second Life. So what if your prim skirt whooshes above your head as you walk – it’s a virtual world FFS. I know my view as mesh being not all that isn’t popular but since when have I kept my mouth shut.
Anyway, enough ranting. Hope you enjoyed my look and oh, if you are interested in the Satorialist post that inspired it - click here. That’s all I got, so take care my friends and have a great second life.
